The U.S. has 35 cases.  The CDC is classifying these by “repatriated” and U.S. cases “"We are keeping track of cases resulting from repatriation efforts separately because we don't believe those numbers accurately represent the picture of what is happening in the community in the United States at this time,"

The New York Times reports shut downs and closures throughout the world, including Pakistan and Turkey temporarily closing their borders to Iran, South Korea declaring a Level 4 alert, that allows the government to bar visitors from certain countries, restrict public transportation and lock down cities, and Venice cancelling the last two days of Venice Carnival.   All 3 countries have had a rapid increase in number of cases.

CNN has the latest numbers at 79,930 with 2,465 deaths, all but 20 in mainland China.
